Greater than the Sum features two new series of works, Parts of a Whole, that delve into themes of deconstruction, human connection, and resilience. Like much of Hansen’s work, this thought-provoking collection of sculpture reworks found materials. It transforms two articles of clothing—a fur-trimmed jacket and a pair of leather pants—by breaking them down and building them back up in completely new forms.
